Large or small, emerging or established, we work on projects that bolster key components of Minnesota's bioscience industry.
BIOMAP
The BIOMAP is an online, interactive web tool that displays Minnesota’s bioscience assets. It includes information on the whole of the value chain for the six Minnesota bioscience industries, from basic research, through product development, manufacturing, and logistics capability.
BIOMAP is a foundational tool for BBAM and our partners because it is the repository of understanding of Minnesota’s strengths and weaknesses and is the foundation for supporting companies and identifying where BBAM and others can focus efforts to ensure a robust system to support the bioscience industry in the state.
BIOMASS SUSTAINABILITY VALUE CHAIN ANALYSIS This project stems from a Destination 2025 recommendation: Establish Minnesota as a leader in sustainable biomass supply. The goal of the project is to deliver a model that will allow stakeholders to simulate trade-offs in forestry biomass decisions.
Full Spectrum Funding
The Full Spectrum Funding initiative is an effort to improve the availability of financial mechanisms that support companies in their efforts to start, grow and re-invent themselves.
Nano Center of Excellence
The Minnesota Nano-Scale Science and Engineering Initiative is an effort to establish a "Nano Scale Eco-System" in Minnesota to help ensure a globally competitive economy exists in the upper Midwest.
